Photography has been a serious passion of mine since 2005. I trained at a highly regarded photography institute and have worked both professionally and on long-term personal projects in New York, Arizona, Amiens (France), London, Manchester and Edinburgh. My work focuses heavily on landscape, portraiture, people, character and detail — a natural extension of my work within hair, grooming and creative styling.

Over the past few years, photography has taken a back seat while I focused on building CHADS. From 2026 onwards, I’ll be reintroducing photography into the studio environment as I begin entering new hair competitions and shows. You may see portrait sessions and hair model work taking place in the salon from time to time as we build a strong, collaborative portfolio. With Obi and Ben now fully qualified and preparing to enter barbering competitions, this allows us to produce cohesive hair, grooming and portrait work in-house.

CHADS will be offering combined hair, makeup and portrait photography packages for both ladies and gents, including hair model work for competitions, portfolios and creative projects. We’re also looking to secure regular access to a local photography studio in the coming year to expand the range of work we can produce. In addition, photography for parties, venues, gigs and local fundraising events will be undertaken on occasion.
